Apply for accommodation (Choose profile to view accommodations)

Make sure you qualify for applying for student housing through SiT before proceeding

Here you can apply for a room in a shared kitchen or an apartment for when you begin your studies in Trondheim, or you can apply for housing immediately if you are already a student here. For large parts of the year we have a lot of demand for housing, so you can expect to be on the waiting lists for a while before we can give you an offer. In slower periods you can be offered housing on the day you apply. Call, email or stop by if you have any questions.

We can not offer viewings of our rooms or apartments.

Read this before applying for student housing

You can apply for the same kind of housing in up to three student villages. You have to submit a separate application for each kind of housing (room with a shared kitchen, studio apartment, couples apartment, family apartment, twin bedroom). If you apply to different kinds of housing in the same application, your application will not be approved. You also have to submit separate applications for parking spaces and extra storage rooms.

In order to process your application, we need confirmation that you (and your partner, if you want priority on couples or family apartments) are a student. Please send us the screenshots "startside" and "report to Lånekasse"  from your StudWeb. Make sure that your name is clearly visible.

Your application is valid for 60 days. Within 60 days you have to update your application or it will automatically be cancelled. You update your application by logging in to "my page".

Attention! You must never try to update or change any information on you application yourself – always contact us, even if it’s just to change a telephone number og misspelling. If you change information on your application yourself it will be saved as a new application and you will lose your place on the waiting list.

When we have student housing to offer you, we will notify you by SMS and by email. You have 5 days to answer before we pass the offer on to the next person on the waiting list.
